DOI: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cell.com\/cell\/fulltext\/S0092-8674(18)30057-6\">http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1016\/j.cell.2018.01.020 <\/a><\/p>\n<p>La obtenci&oacute;n de primates no humanos gen&eacute;ticamente uniformes pudiera ayudar a crear modelos que se utilicen en las investigaciones de primates biol&oacute;gicos y en biomedicina.<\/p>\n<p>En el presente estudio, los autores clonaron de manera exitosa el mono cinomolgus (<em>Macaca fascicularis<\/em>) utilizando la transferencia nuclear de c&eacute;lulas som&aacute;ticas (SCNT, siglas en ingl&eacute;s). Se encontr&oacute; que la inyecci&oacute;n de mRNA H3K9me3 demetilasa <em>Kdm4d<\/em> y el tratamiento con el inhibidor de la histona deacetilasa, trichostatin A, en la etapa unicelular luego de la SCNT mejora mucho el desarrollo del blastocito y el promedio de embarazos de embriones SCNT trasplantados en &lsquo;monas sustitutas&rsquo;.
