Julio 2015.1;6(3):184-6.<\/p>\n<p>La vacunaci&oacute;n contra la influenza se considera la medida m&aacute;s efectiva para prevenir la trasmisi&oacute;n de esta enfermedad en el personal de salud que atiende a pacientes. Sin embargo la cobertura de vacunaci&oacute;n entre los trabajadores de la salud es inferior a lo &oacute;ptimo. De acuerdo con el CDC se requiere un 80 % de cobertura para prevenir la trasmisi&oacute;n hasta niveles seguros, en instalaciones de salud.<\/p>\n<p>El presente trabajo describe la estrategia seguida para lograr altos niveles de vacunaci&oacute;n en el Hospital Cubano de Dukhan, Qatar, centro en el que el equipo de investigaci&oacute;n realiz&oacute; un programa con diferentes componentes que llevaron los niveles de vacunaci&oacute;n hasta el 93.2 %.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Successful Strategy for Improving the Influenza Immunization Rates of Health Care Workers without a Mandatory Policy.
